Diploma in Telecommunication Technology

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

This Diploma is designed to prepare students for exciting careers in this dynamic field. Through classroom and laboratory experience, graduates gain in-depth knowledge of the components and systems that make up the global telecommunications network. Starting with the basics of electronics, electrical and computing, students learn about the media and devices that transport and direct communication signals through that network. Students become familiar with current technology and develop the tools they will need to work with future advances. The program provides students with a good foundation in the fundamentals of telecommunications, including Telecom Mearuring & Testing Instruments, Data Communication Fundamental, Mobile & Wireless Communication, Satellite Communication, Optical Fibre Communication, Microwave Engineering.

Students will be exposed to formal standards and practices which equip them with the most up-to-date techniques for successfully implementing and using a telecommunication system. Graduates will have acquired cutting-edge knowledge and skills in telecommunication technologies. They will also have developed effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and essential business and management attributes, which makes them very attractive to employers in the all aspects of the telecommunications industry. They may also find employment in the design, manufacture and supply of telecommunication products, systems and services and establish their own businesses.

1.      Course Duration: 8 Months in two semesters (1 Semester = 4 Months)

2.      Class Timing: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (4 days in a week)

3.      Total Week: 16 Weeks

Higher Secondary School Certification / ’O’ Level / Equivalent examination

Monthly Tuition Fee: BDT 2500.00 X 12 Months
