COURSE OUTLINE

This course covers the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, with particular emphasis on listening and speaking. The primary goal of the course is to teach communicative competence, that is, the ability to communicate in English according to the situation, purpose and roles of the participants. There will be little grammar taught in this course.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The aim of the course is to encourage students to use English freely and correctly. At the completion of 8-weeks course, students will have achieved the following level-dependent objectives:

v Describe likes & dislikes
