Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) has given affiliation to BSDI to run 3 Years Diploma in Health Technology (Dental, Pharmacy & Pathology) and 1 Year Certificate in Medical Technology (Pharmacy & Pathology) from 2011-12 sessions. With this newly achieved affiliation, another department has been added in BSDI polytechnic. It may be mentioned here that BSDI started Diploma in Engineering (Telecommunication, Computer, Civil & Electrical Technology) in the year 2006-07 and Diploma in Textile Engineering started from 2010-11 academic sessions.
